Student Success Statement

“I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy.

I was trying to do what

Reflection: I think what Dean Smith is trying to 

say is that legacy wasn't a isuue infact he ignored, 

not trying to leave one behing him when his time 

comes. He was trying to set a example for all his 

palyers to follow, one that they would hopefully 

follow for the rest of their lives. That was his goal 

all along, not showing off, not to feel better than 

others. Just to choose the right and nothing more, 

beacause someines leaving a legacy might not help 

others, though choosing the right might help them 

now.
