Statement #37

Student Success Statement
“Set your goals high, and don’t
stop till you get there.”
Bo Jackson

Reflection: I believe what he is trying to say is that we must dream becoming the best that we can be, if we almost make it we are better than not having that goal. Do not stop for nothing that is the lesson, dream big and don't stop.

Statement #36

Student Success Statement
“You can’t put at limit
on anything. The
more you dream, the
farther you get.”
Michael Phelps

22 Olympic Medals (18 Gold)

Reflection: I think this statement means that there
is no boundary, no set line, no goal we can't reach. Once we set a goal for our selves there is no keeping us away from it. We need to strive for something and even if the goal seems a bit far fetched, we must set our mind to it and try.

Restoring Humanity

Restoring faith in Humanity

I believe in the past centuries we as a species have grown to be more self-efficient and by that we have unattached ourselves from our humanity and this emotion have grown dull and not needed. So I say help every person you see that needs it, so no matter how shy you may be just help out, everyone counts.

Statement #36

Student Success Statement
“Try a little
harder to be a
little better.”

Gordon B. Hinckley

Reflection: I think this statement is encouraging us
to try a little harder, because that little bit in the long run can mean a lot. To be the best you can be you must give a 110%, just like the saying. That is how we can get better with any subject like language, math , science, whatever it is give more than what you are.

Student Success Statement
“If you want to achieve
excellence, you can get there
today. As of this second, quit
doing less-than-excellent work.”

Thomas J. Watson

Reflection: I believe what Mr.Watson is trying to
express is, if you work, strive, want to be excellent then you mustn't settle for anything less. Try your best and hardest at everything you do.

Statement #34

Student Success Statement
“Paint a masterpiece daily. Always autograph tour work with
excellence.”

Greg Hickman

Reflection: I believe what Mr.Hickman is trying to say is, everyday is a blank canvas, and everyday you get to paint it, you get to express yourself, and try to make every canvas a masterpiece. Statement #33

Student Success Statement
“Righteous community unity starts with ONE
upright soul, whether it is a community of family
members, students, neighbors, teammates, or
business associates. Unity conquers worthy
pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone.”

Mr.Haymore

Reflection: I believe what this quote means is that two heads are better than one when it comes to a worthy pursuit. There is no need for a alone project, all you need is many people with one goal in mind and you have already succeeded.

Statement #32

Student Success Statement
Together Everyone Achieves More
Anon

Reflection: I believe what this person is trying to say is that together the work effort is split and the success is the same or even multiplied. So why not work with other people. Some of you might say that the other person doesn't work as hard or you are shy. So you find someone who is going to work or get over your fear. Just know the easier it is with team mates it will be that much harder by yourself.

Teamwork

  • I see a team of hikers climbing up of mountain
  • The picture is implying that you should work as a team and that it is better to work together than alone
  • I see teamwork, all for one purpose, to reach the top
  • I see group of people holding each other up
  • The picture is implying that everyone in a team should contribute to the cause
  • The picture is implying the leader should be the most enduring and strong
  • I see unity, as if the team was one big person hiking up the mountain instead of Four individual people
  • I see that even though there are differences, as long as there is a goal people have one thing to agree on
  • I see perseverance in each one of them
  • I see a group effort

Statement #31

Student Success Statement
“Work as a team
to achieve your dream.”

Sarah Real

Reflection: I believe what Sarah Real is trying to say is that as long as you got a team anything is possible and you can achieve your dream. If you work with 2 or 200 people as long as everyone is contributing to the cause you can achieve what you were trying to achieve. So work together, work hard, and you will reach the goal.

Statement #30

Student Success Statement
“You will become as great as your
dominant aspiration (goal).”

James Allen

Reflection: I believe what he is trying to say is that you will only go as far as you want to go no one can make you go for your goal. Your dominant aspiration is your drive to do, to walk, to run, to chase it. Eventually you meet your goal and you become it. Say you dream of being in the NFL, you work hard, try your best, and give it your all. Finally, you reached your goal, you have become a NFL player. That is why you must go for it.

attitude (PMA), is the starting
point of all worthwhile
achievement.”

Reflection: I think what Mr. Hill is trying to say is that there is no goal more worthwhile than one that requires you to find one good strong goal and combine it with a positive mental attitude. Statement #28

Student Success Statement
“We become what we
think about.”

Earl Nightingale

Reflection: I believe what he is trying to say is

that we become what we want to be, not what

others want us to be. Our thoughts, our mind, our

decisions make our life. There is no way to not

become what you think about because no one but

yourself makes you think about anything. When

Student Success Statement
“Good thoughts bear good fruit. Bad
thoughts bear bad fruit.”

Statement #26

Student Success Statement
“I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy.
I was trying to do what
was right.”

Dean Smith

Reflection: I think what Dean Smith is trying to

say is that legacy wasn't a isuue infact he ignored,

not trying to leave one behing him when his time

comes. He was trying to set a example for all his

palyers to follow, one that they would hopefully

follow for the rest of their lives. That was his goal

all along, not showing off, not to feel better than

others. Just to choose the right and nothing more,

beacause someines leaving a legacy might not help

others, though choosing the right might help them

now.
