Duties and Responsibilities:
Member of the dental
team who, upon prescription from a dental clinician, constructs custom made
restorative and dental appliances.
The Dentist
communicates with the dental technologists with prescriptions, drawings and
measurements taken from the patient.
Average Salary: $36,000
Educational Requirements:
Dental laboratory technicians may receive their
education and training through a two-year program at a community college,
vocational school, technical college, university or dental school.
